Students will attend John Cabot University (JCU), through SAI programs (Study Abroad Italy).  John Cabot University is a four-year liberal arts American institution located in the charming city of Trastevere.  The university is made up of two campuses, walking distance apart.  Internships are also available for students studying abroad in the summer.  Academic courses are taught in English, with Italian language courses also available.  JCU has a variety of courses available, including Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and International Business.

SAI programs strive to create a comfortable living experience for each student.  You will be picked up at the airport and brought to your safe, well-maintained housing in quality apartments located near both JCU campuses (within 30 min. walk).  Students will be placed with other SAI students in privately owned apartment buildings shared by Italian residents.  This will give you a great opportunity to immerse yourself into the Italian lifestyle.  A typical apartment will house around 2-8 students (private rooms are available for an extra fee) and includes both private and shared bedrooms and shared kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Furnishings, kitchen supplies, bed linens and towels are all provided.

For students interested in gaining Italian skills prior to studying abroad, please consider taking Italian at SMC. For more information please click HERE.
