Universidad de Pablo De Olavide- This state-run university serves almost 11,000 students.  Located just a 30-minute bus ride from the center of the city, the Unviersidad de Olavide offers courses in traditional majors as wells as in biotechnology, environmental sciences, humanities, social work, sports science and translation.  Students will learn in a beautiful campus equipped with campus-wide Internet, computers, televisions, video and audio centers, sports facilities, science labs, and more. To find out more, click here

CIEE Study Center- Located in a beautifully renovated Sevillian palace, the CIEE study center is located very closely to the Universidad de Seville building.  Here, students will find different classrooms, computer centers, student services, and administration.  CIEE professors also hold their office hours at the study center so students will have the opportunity to speak to his or her professors.

Students can choose to live in Spanish-speaking private homes or student residencias.

Homestays are a great way for students to learn both Spanish culture and language.  Therefore, homestays have been the preferred preference.  Students have their own room and are placed indivudally.  However, if students wish to share housing, they may request to live with another CIEE participent.  Meals and laundry are provided.

Students can also choose to live in shared student apartments.  The student apartments houses other program participants, Spanish and occasionally, international students.  Students will have their own bedroom, but bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas are shared among the other residents.  Students will be responsible for laundry and meals.  Washing machines and a monthly food stipend will be provided.

If students choose the residencia option, meals will be provided in the cafeteria.  Students will likely be sharing rooms with one or two other CIEE participants. Although laundry facilities are provided, students will be responsible for laundry services.

** Students who wish to live in their own room should choose the homestay or shared apartment option
